AmCham joins The American Language Center in El Jadida to celebrate International Women’s day

On March 7th, AmCham managing director, Rabia El Alama, took part in a panel discussion on Women in Business Leadership featuring:

The event was an opportunity to assess women’s successes and challenges in leadership and workplace and to reach out to new women networks in El Jadida. AmCham managing director suggested organizing a women race in march 2018 in El Jadida on the theme “Women Stepping in Victory” to help women gain more rights and have access to more responsible positions in the workplace.

On Thursday March 8th, AmCham managing director, Rabia El Alama, gave a speech on inspiring change at the occasion of international women’s day. She then took part in Dell women’s award ceremony to reward active women.

Awards included integrity award, innovation award and customer service award and were given based on merit and vote by employees.

El Alama seized the occasion to congratulate Dell Morocco on achieving gender parity both at the employee level and at the Board of directors’ level.
