Lear Automotive receives the Investment Award Category of the AmCham-OCP Trade and Investment Award 2013.
Lear Automotive has six manufacturing units in the free zone of Tangier that employ 9,196 people. Lear Automotive manufactures head rest injection, wire harnesses and electronic modules for PSA, Renault-Nissan, Ford, JLR, Volkswagen, FIAT, Audi, Seat, BMW and Chrysler. Over the past three years, Lear Automotive has invested 63.3 million USD and exported 577 million USD of goods to Europe. Lear is certified ISO TS 16949 by TUV Volkswagen as well as ISO 14001 for environment. On the CSR field, Lear Automotive supports the employee charity „katir min qalil‟ and organizes various events such as Women‟s Day, Lear Children‟s Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and Ramadan Iftars for needy people.

Lesieur Cristal receives the Export Category Award
Lesieur Cristal is in the business of refining and packing of edible oils and natural soaps. Over the past three years, Lesieur Cristal has invested 18 million USD to upgrade its main manufacturing unit based in Casablanca and has exported 17 million USD of „made in Morocco‟ products to the U.S. market. Lesieur Cristal places innovation, traceability, fair trade and quality at the heart of its strategy. The company has obtained several important certifications including ISO 14001 for environment, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 for quality in addition to CSR Labels such as “CGEM RSE label”. On the CSR field, Lesieur Cristal supports several NGOs, most notably Injaz Al Maghrib and other organizations that promote youth employability in Morocco.

Citibank Maghreb receives the AmCham Corporate Citizenship Award 2013
Citibank is actively engaged in various youth and women programs and is committed to achieving a long term and sustainable impact in Morocco. More than 4000 young people and entrepreneurs have benefited from these programs which can be summarized in the following:
- Microfinance programs in partnership with le centre Mohammed VI pour l’économie Solidaire.
- Entrepreneurship development in partnership with Endeavor Morocco.
- Women entrepreneurs‟ empowerment in partnership with Amideast.
- Promotion of economic opportunities for youth in partnership with EFE (Education For Employment).
- Soft skills training for unemployed youth in partnership with l’Heure Joyeuse.
- Financial literacy, business skills, and entrepreneurship training in partnership with Injaz Al Maghrib.

Green Sahara Furniture (GSF) receives the Certificate of Merit of the AmCham Corporate Citizenship Award 2013
Green Sahara Furniture is a Moroccan SME founded by an American. This company produces art furniture from reclaimed wood both for local market and export. Green Sahara Furniture adopted a sustainable approach towards local communities, the environment, its employees and their families, suppliers, partners and customers, Green Sahara Furniture exports to the U.S. market which helps promote “Made in Morocco”. Green Sahara Furniture employs physically disabled persons, pays fair wages to its employees and artisans, and offers training for young graduates. Green Sahara Furniture also supports several NGOs, most notably The SOS Village and the High Atlas Foundation.

The AmCham Hall of Fame Award 2013
The AmCham Hall of Fame Award recognizes American and Moroccan personalities who have made significant contributions to boosting Moroccan-American economic and commercial relations.
The first edition of the Hall of Fame Award was awarded to Jane Kitson, previous US Commercial Counselor for Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. Jane Kitson has been actively involved in negotiating the US-Morocco Atlantic Bridge Initiative promoting Morocco as platform for production and export to Africa, Europe, and the Middle East as well as organizing a successful Trade mission to Morocco in 2011 led by Assistant Secretary Suresh Kumar. She also has certified two main trade shows, most notably Pollutec Morocco and Marrakesh Air Show by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Along with her team, Jane Kitson was able to produce over 130 success story of trade and matchmaking partnerships. Last but not least, Jane Kitson was able to establish a strategic partnership with AmCham Morocco and has been actively involved with the AmCham Morocco Board.
